Rodin: The Human Experience

Selections from the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Collections

Opens January 21

As we enter a new year, come see an eye-opening exhibition by the artist considered the first truly modern sculptor, Auguste Rodin (1840-1917). Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the artist’s death, Rodin: The Human Experience—Selections from the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Collections offers more than 50 bronzes representing the major achievements of Rodin’s long career, in particular demonstrating his genius for modeling the form and motion of the human figure.

This exhibition has been organized and made possible by the Iris & B. Gerald Cantor Foundation. Host curated by Dawson Carr, Ph.D., The Janet and Richard Geary Curator of European Art.
