Curious and Curiouser

Evening for Educators

Thursday, March 16 | 4:30–6 pm

Join museum staff for an exciting preview of upcoming exhibitions.  Discover the innovative mosaics of Louis Comfort Tiffany, many of which survive today in churches, libraries, and other public buildings (including local ones!).  Find out how curious and surprising objects from The Rakow Research Library, such as advertisements for glass eyes, patents for preserving the dead in glass, and drawings by world-famous artists, have inspired artists and other glass enthusiasts.  Then watch our talented flameworkers make glass eyes!

Light refreshments will be available. Reservations are required as space is limited. Contact or 607.438.5429 to make a reservation or for more information. Corning Museum of Glass
