Please pass along this exciting opportunity to teens interested in learning more about art and museums. This school year-long program gives teens behind the scenes access to the Walker and a chance to plan events for the museum! Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
The Walker Art Center Teen Arts Council (WACTAC) is a paid opportunity for teen creators/advocates. WACTAC members are 10th-12th graders from neighborhoods and high schools all over the Twin Cities metro area.
Teens learn about working at a museum, connect with contemporary art and artists, and create ways for the Twin Cities teen community to experience the Walker.
The Group meets every Thursday evening.
Apply online at wlkr.art/WACTAC18 by June 8. If you don’t have easy computer access, feel free to reach out to Teen Programs.
