What is Pop Art? How and why did Pop Artists incorporate commercial imagery (including mass media, consumer goods, and everyday items) and techniques into their artwork, and what was their impact on American popular culture in the 1950s and ’60s?
On August 14, 2017, for the first time, five versions of Van Gogh’s Sunflowers – one of the most famous images in the history of art – will be seen together in a way the artist could have never imagined.
This is a great opportunity for artists to display and sell their work, and we invite all artists to submit artworks. There is no entry fee, but we encourage artists to become a member of Arts Mid-Hudson.
