Pope.L and Public Art Fund seek volunteer participants for Pope.L: Conquest New York City

On September 21, Public Art Fund will present Pope.L: Conquest, a one-day-only, 100+ person performance unfolding over 1.5 miles in Downtown Manhattan. Inspired by more than 30 performative crawls, in which the artist dragged his body across the urban landscape, Conquest is Pope.L’s largest and most ambitious performance to date, putting on display the power and complexity of collective expression.

Pope.L and Public Art Fund are seeking a diverse group of volunteer participants who reflect the multicultural social fabric of New York City to help realize this important work.
