Our New Year’s resolution? To bring you even closer to the art and ideas of our time through groundbreaking exhibitions and programs. How hard could it be? We’ll start off by offering a full schedule of free programs that bring art-makers to the forefront. In January, you’ll be able to hear directly from an artist who uses movement to create paintings, work with a community-based art group on an active project, and dive into the life of an artist who just transformed the Hirshhorn’s galleries into an immense color wheel. For our little artists, ring in the new year with a musical color parade at MAKER MORNING on January 4.
