Dear friends, guests, staff and volunteers, A Message to our Patrons and Visitors Regarding Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The Phillips Collection has always prided itself as a place of welcoming and community gathering. The health and welfare of our staff and visitors is our top priority. As such, it is ever more important to remain vigilant as the situation regarding novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve. We encourage all our patrons and staff to monitor updates and take hygiene precautions as suggested by the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

In addition to implementing measures as recommended by public health experts, the Phillips is implementing several protocols on site at our locations on 21st Street and at Phillips@THEARC. Our preparation includes:

  • Hand sanitizer will be available throughout all our venues as long as supplies last. Our staff will also gladly direct you towards restrooms that will remain stocked with soap.
  • Regular additional cleaning and sanitizing of handrails, door handles, elevator buttons, surfaces, etc.
  • Monitoring daily communications from the CDC, and District of Columbia public health sources so that we can stay informed and respond quickly to new guidelines.
  • All staff, partners and vendor employees are directed to remain at home if they begin to show any sign or symptom that fits the criteria of cold/flu/etc. if a close contact has tested positive for COVID-19 (or is presumed to have COVID-19), or if there is reason to believe that they have been exposed to COVID-19. Staff and/or 3rd party employees reporting for work who are observed to be experiencing symptoms will be asked to leave the venue and/or to seek medical attention.

The Phillips Collection will continue to monitor the situation, including updates from the CDC and the Government of the District of Columbia. At this time, based on information from these and other authorities, all events are proceeding as scheduled. If a ticket purchaser would like a refund, or in the event of a program cancellation, ticket purchases will be refunded. Please contact for any additional questions.

If you have any questions about what you may expect when visiting The Phillips Collection, please give us a call at 202-387-2151 or visit our website, for the latest updates. Any changes to public programming or schedule will be communicated via email, social media channels, and posted on our website.
