Safe Harbors of the Hudson is going to cancel our International Day of Happiness scheduled for Friday, March 20

Dear Friends,
In light of precautionary measures being recommended by the County and State to help contain the spread of COVID-19, Safe Harbors of the Hudson is going to cancel our International Day of Happiness scheduled for Friday, March 20. We would like to thank our board member, Allison Cappella, who spearheads this annual celebration, and our sponsors and partners, RECAP, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh, Rider, Weiner & Frankel, PC, Mid-Hudson Times and all those individuals and organizations who planned to come out and celebrate with us.
The theme of this years’ International Day of Happiness is, ironically, Happier Together! Though we cannot be together, we hope each of you will take some time to focus on what we have in common rather than what divides us and celebrate our common humanity while we get through this difficult and unsettling time.
We will certainly keep you posted if/when we decide to reschedule the event; and we will absolutely look forward to celebrating together at next year’s International Day of Happiness which is always celebrated here at Safe Harbors March 20.
Stay safe and healthy,
Safe Harbors of the Hudson
